In 2007, C-10 Foundation joined the Massachusetts Climate Coalition to work with other environmental groups to help curb global warming pollution in New England. This year the Massachusett's Senate passed the RGGI Bill and the Global Warming Solutions Act moving us in the right direction. see: Senate Bill 2531 .
A recent report, Falling Behind: New England Must Act to Reduce Global Warming Pollution, found that the largest sector increase in global warming pollution from 2001-2005 was the transportation sector. The report states the need to support higher fuel standards, stronger public transportation and smart, green, renewable energy-efficient development. C-10 Foundation encourages it's members to support further legislation to build a more sustainable transportation system within Massachusetts and the region. See report: Falling Behind.
